The Graduate in Pharmacy prepares professionals to act in the entire life cycle of the medicine and / or health products and medication management process. The study plan empowers the graduate from preclinical and clinical research, galenical development, production, handling, warranty and quality control, distribution, management, marketing, dispensation and medication advice to the utent / sick.
Goals
Form professionals with competencies in the fundamental area of Pharmacy and in related areas such as life sciences and health, in a profession regulated by the Ministry of Health (Decree-Law No. 261/93 of July 24), to:
- Update on the entire life cycle of the medicine, from R & D to the advice to the utent / doentee;
- Contributing to the rational use of medications and health products;
- Participate in the promotion and management of health and disease prevention;
- Inform other health care professionals, aiming at the ongoing improvement of health care delivery;
- Integrate multidisciplinary health care, research and teaching teams.
