If you are interested in becoming a mobility student at Instituto Politécnico de Lisboa (IPL) – Escola Superior de Tecnologia da Saúde de Lisboa (ESTeSL), for 1 or 2 semesters, first of all you will need to check with your Home University’s International Office if there is a valid Interinstitutional Agreement that would allow your mobility.

Your Home University’s International Office will need to send us your Official Nomination:

  • Complete Name of the student
  • Date of Birth
  • Semester of Mobility
  • E-mail address of the student
  • Home Institution


Deadline for Nominations

1st Semester/Full Year: 1st May
2nd Semester: 1st October

The candidate student will receive an e-mail with the instructions how to apply on-line and the deadlines.

In the application form, it will be requested:

  • Photo
  • Identity Document
  • European Health Insurance Card / Insure (for students outside EU)
  • Academic Records, with the subjects already attended successfully at home university
  • Draft of Learning Agreement, accordingly with our Curricula: https://www.estesl.ipl.pt/estudar/licenciaturas

(Please note that the language of lecturing is Portuguese. Only in very specific situations, as in the case of internships, could eventually be offered English tutoring. Previous contact needed).

 

Academic Calendar

Students should have at least a level B-1 of Portuguese to be able to follow lessons, and for that reason students should improve their language competence still in their home countries before travelling to Portugal.

IPL/CLiC (Centro de Línguas e Cultura do Politécnico de Lisboa) offers the possibility to Incoming students of learning/improving Portuguese, through an Intensive Language Course (4 ECTS) and a Semester Portuguese Course (6 ECTS).

Accommodation: We cannot guarantee accommodation at IPL Students Residence, but we will send a list of alternatives which could help incoming students in the search for housing.
